Today was a truly special day for Alena and Philipp—they went fishing for the very first time! And — what can we say — they absolutely rocked it!! But more on that later.
First, we turned our attention to the gear with Torstein. The rod and reel were explained, casting was practiced, and just ten minutes later…
… the first fish was already on the hook!! You could definitely see the excitement on Alena’s face!
All in all, Alena and Philipp caught 17 (!) trouts on their trip. Not bad for their very first time fishing, right?
In fact, catching so many fish on our river is nothing out of the ordinary. The best part is that there are no export limits for freshwater fish, nor do you need to register anywhere. That means you can catch as many as you like and take them home with you! We can arrange freezer storage for you — just let us know!

The fishing trip with Torstein was our best experience in Norway. We never would have thought that our last stop in Norway would end with such a beautiful highlight!

Wir waren im Mai für eine Woche in Norwegen unterwegs. Einen Tag haben wir mit Torstein auf dem Wasser verbracht und es war einfach herrlich.
Es war eigentlich noch zu kalt und die Saison war noch nicht eröffnet, aber er hat uns trotzdem mit aufs Boot genommen und uns das Angeln beigebracht. Den ersten Fisch am Haken zu haben war unbeschreiblich.
Super Anleitung, lustiger und redseliger Geselle der Torstein. Definitiv weiterzuempfehlen!
We keep coming back to Kilefjorden camping. Next to the hospitality of the whole camping crew, Torstein’s ribboat adventures are one of the main the reasons we keep coming back. Both the sightseeing and the fishing trip are more then worth doing more then once.
We can’t wait to go back!
