We are Torstein Hodne and Stephan Löppmann — two people united by a great passion: Norway, nature, and fishing on the Otra.

Torstein is a native Norwegian who has lived in this beautiful region since childhood and has been fishing for as long as he has been able to walk. He knows the Otra River — its best spots and its unique characteristics — better than almost anyone else. Stephan hails from Germany and has long been a huge fan of Norway. A few years ago, he really caught the fishing bug — thanks in no small part to Torstein, whom he met while on vacation. Since then, the place, the people, and that special feeling of being out on the water have held him captive.

Otra Sightseeing & Boat Rental AS grew out of this shared enthusiasm.

Our goal is to share the beauty of Norway’s nature, the tranquility of the water, and the incredible abundance of fish in the Otra River with others.
